The Birds Section produces the Yorkshire Bird Report and maintains the official county list. The YNU encourages all birders, whether lone or members of clubs, groups or societies, to submit bird records via the BTO's BirdTrack. For further information about this decision, please follow this link.

YNU members receive the Yorkshire Bird Report as a benefit of membership. The Birds Section would like to thank the writers, editors, photographers, illustrators, sponsors and of course everyone who contributed bird records to produce this excellent report.

Issues of the Yorkshire Bird Report from 2006 onwards can usually be ordered from our website shop. Historic Bird Reports from 1970 to 2010 are available to download here.
