Affiliated Societies
Affiliated Societies are one of the key elements of the YNU. Affilation to the YNU costs £30 per year.
- Each Society receives a copy of all of the YNU's regular publications: The Naturalist, Bird Report and Butterflies & Moths Report
- Members of Affiliated Societies can attend any of the YNU's field meetings and indoor meetings.
- Affiliation to the YNU helps the recording and conservation aims of Yorkshire's oldest natural history society.
- The YNU promotes Affiliated Society events to our members via e-mail, the website and social media.
- Affiliated Societies are encouraged to send representatives to Natural Sciences Forum meetings
- The YNU Library aims to act as an archive for the journals of its Affiliated Societies.
- NEW - The YNU Executive has decided to allow members of affiliated societies access to an online version of the current Naturalist. For a trial period of one year this will be free of charge. To register for this click here
