We are delighted that the YNU's honorary Arachnid (spiders, harvestmen & pseudoscorpions) recorder, Richard Wilson, with support from the YNU and the British Arachnological Society (www.britishspiders.org.uk) has a new book describing the spiders, and for the first time, the harvestmen of Yorkshire. The 384 page publication (hardback) provides an illustrated account of spider and harvestmen recording in the county, describing the history of recording, the fauna associated with various environments and landscapes; with plentiful photos of the relevant species.
