Meet at SE664890. Parking in field adjacent to Sleightholmedale Lodge. This is a 2-day meeting, not a residential, so members can attend either or both days. There will be some excellent informal training opportunities, to learn from experts Roger and Rosy Key on invertebrates both days, and plants with Gill Smith and Wendy English. Plus moth trapping.
Directions:
From the A170 mid-way between Nawton and Kirkbymoorside take the minor road running north towards Fadmoor. After about 2 miles, and before reaching Fadmoor village, turn left signposted 'Sleightholmedale Only'. Follow the avenue of trees and turn right down into the dale. Sleightholmedale Lodge is the first property at the bottom of the hill and the parking place there will be signed.
The tea and meeting will be held at the Lodge by kind permission of the landowner and toilets will be available there too.
