Sharon and Peter Flint of the Freshwater Section have attended the National Forum for Biological Recording conference at Lancaster Unversity this year, details can be found here

A poster entitled, Moth Trapping for River Flies, was presented and the work of the YNU Lepidoptera section with the Freshwater section on recording Mayflies, Stoneflies and Caddisflies discussed.

Formal field and laboratory skills training is provided by Sharon and Peter Flint on their course run at the Field Studies Council field centre at  Malham Tarn in the Yorkshire Dales.
