The Birds Section produces the Yorkshire Bird Report and maintains the official county list.  The YNU encourages all birders, whether lone or members of clubs, groups or societies, to submit bird records via the BTO's BirdTrack. For further information about this decision, please follow this link.

If you are a member you will be sent the Yorkshire Bird Report as part of your yearly membership, previous editions from 2008 to 2011 from the website shop or by clicking the image links to the right of this page.  The 2012 Bird Report has sold out from our website but copies might still be available from the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust at Spurn or Potteric Carr or RSPB at Blacktoft Sands.

Important notice: Unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances, publication of the 2013 Yorkshire Bird Report has had to be delayed. Rather than rush it out, and thereby compromise on the high quality and standard which is synonymous with the report, the decision has been made to delay publication. However you can be assured that the report will be well worth reading.

Further information about the 2012 Report can be found by clicking here.  Historic Bird Reports from 1970 to 2004 are available to download from our website by following the link at the bottom of this page.
